Encouraging books for promiscuous pre-teen girls
First came sexually liberating Britney Spears music in girl's CD players. Then sexually flaunting clothing lines in girl's closets. Now there are books containing sexual innuendos for the pre-teen girl's bookshelf.
Author Louise Rennison writes humorous books for pre-teen girls with sexually suggestive titles such as;"Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging", "On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God". The books are for girls age 11 and over and chasing after boys is a common theme. Many of Rennison's books are banned in Texas schools because of sexual overtones.
Innocence should still be encouraged in young girls. Dating should not begin until age 25. My conservative side comes out when I get protective.
